Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central newcomers Harlow Town have announced the signing of young goalkeeper Tom Middlehurst.

A former scholar with Cheltenham Town, the 18-year-old joined Championship side Queens Park Rangers two years ago and signs for the Hawks on an initial three-month loan deal.

The Essex-born keeper has been turning out for QPR`s under-23.

And he made quite an impact in his last spell in the Southern League with Harlow`s new league rivals Wantage Town. However, it was not with his handling skills, but by scoring from inside his own area in a 3-2 win over Thame United!
