Bateman, 26, arrives at the Windsor Foodservice Stadium from Southern League Premier Division Central side St Ives Town.

The 26-year-old joined St Ives in late September 2020 from league rivals Tamworth.

He had only signed for the Lambs in July 2020 from NPL Premier Division side Basford United, where he had been since signing from Kettering Town in June 2018.

He featured in the first series of the Jamie Vardy V9 Academy featured on Sky Sports while with the Poppies.

He came through the ranks at Aston Villa and played in their under-18 and under-23 sides before joining Kettering in November 2015.

Gibbens (pictured), 21, played on loan with the Tigers during the early part of the 2020/21 season from Vanarama National League North outfit Boston United.

The centre-half joined the Pilgrims initially on loan from Mansfield Town in late November 2018 before extending his spell for a further month in January 2019.

He returned to the club once again in September 2019 and signed permanently for the Pilgrims in the summer of 2020.

Manager Craig Parry told his club`s website: “Liam is a quality footballer that has operated at a higher level and brings in a winning mentality - he has won the division before.

“His technical ability is there for all to see, and he gives us that balance down the right-hand side.

“He is a leader. He’s experienced and can help everyone in the side with his attributes.

"Lewis is a quality defender, who has played in the football league and played many times in the conference north.

“He is a centre-half that I have admired greatly. He is a player who we made a big effort to bring back on board this year".
