Josh
Batty (pictured) is a forward who re-joins the Owls from Toolstation Northern Counties
East League Premier Division neighbours Barton Town.
He
had moved to Barton in the summer of 2020 from Cleethorpes.
He
was
originally released from the professional game by Doncaster Rovers and has also
played for the likes of Winterton Rangers, Hall Road Rangers and Gainsborough
Trinity.
Defender
Jordan Cooke becomes an Owl after being with former league rivals Stamford AFC
since August 2019.
The
23-year-old joined the Daniels from NPL Premier Division side Matlock Town.
He
had only joined the Gladiators in June from Stamford having been originally with
Stamford since June 2018 after arriving from North Ferriby United.
He
has previously played for Buxton, Worksop Town, Scunthorpe United, Lincoln City
and Doncaster Rovers.
Also
joining Clee is experienced goalkeeper Tom Nicholson.
The
33-year-old joined Frickley Athletic in June 2020 from Vanarama National League
North side Bradford Park Avenue, having arrived at the Horsfall Stadium just
before Christmas 2019.
He
started the 2019/20 campaign with Grantham Town, signing in July 2019 from
National League North side Alfreton Town and then switched to NPL Division One
South East outfit Lincoln United in October 2019.
He
had signed for Alfreton from FC Halifax Town in May 2018.
He
previously played for North Ferriby United but largely played a back-up role
with the Villagers, where he was a part of the side who won the FA Trophy in
2015.
His
other former clubs include Hull City, Scarborough and Garforth Town. |
