Midfielder George Hunt has joined Vanarama National League South club Slough Town after recently leaving EFL Championship side AFC Bournemouth.

Previously on the books at Brentford and Southampton, Hunt joined the Cherries after completing his two-year scholarship at Coventry City.

Born in Wexham, Buckinghamshire, he is now living in Slough.

During his two years at Coventry as a scholar, he spent time on loan with Combined Counties Leaguers CB Hounslow.

At Bournemouth he turned out for the under-23s and turned down offers from Championship and League One clubs to join their under-23 set-ups as he wants to prove himself in senior football.
