The
21-year-old attacking midfielder joined the Mariners in June 2020 from JD Cymru
Premier side The New Saints.
Beginning
his career as a youngster with Bolton Wanderers’ academy, he crossed the
Pennines where he spent a season with Barnsley’s under-16 side.
Then
it was back to Lancashire, where a two-year scholarship with Accrington Stanley
saw him go on to become the captain of the under-18s at the Wham Stadium.
Training
regularly with the first team and featuring in several behind-closed-doors
friendlies, his big break came in 2017.
A
belated Christmas present saw the then 17-year-old make his senior debut on
December 30th against Grimsby Town.
While
with Accrington he scored the only the only goal of the game, as his side beat
Rochdale 1-0 in the FA Youth Cup.
He
joined TNS in 2018 and has had loan spells at FC United of Manchester, and spent
from August to December 2019 with Marine`s league rivals Ramsbottom United. |
