Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West club City of Liverpool have added vastly experienced defender Scott Lycett to their squad ahead of the new campaign.

The 33-year-old moves to the Purps from league rivals Runcorn Linnets, having been with them since December 2019 after joining from another league rival, Marine AFC.

 

He had been with the Mariners since the summer of 2019 after arriving from Leek Town.

 

The well-travelled player has also turned out for Congleton Town, Mossley AFC, Colwyn Bay, Willenhall Town, Hednesford Town, Leamington, Kidsgrove Athletic, Halesowen Town, Nantwich Town and Witton Albion.

 

He began his career as a youth player at Port Vale and Manchester City and also played reserve team football for Leicester City.
