Boost for Crows as Bateman Returns
Striker Matt Bateman has re-joined Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Royston Town.

The 26-year-old returns to Garden Walk from Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

 

He had joined the Tudors in the summer of 2020 after enjoying a terrific campaign with the Crows.

 

He originally came through the ranks with Kings Langley and had a short spell at Leighton Town before joining Berkhamsted in 2017.

 

Also previously with Leverstock Green, he netted 43 goals in 2018/19 for his dad Steve`s Berko side before stepping up a level to join Royston in July 2019.

 

He played an integral part in Royston reaching the quarter finals of the Buildbase FA Trophy in 2019/20 and scored 25 goals.
