The
34-year-old York-born player joined his home-town team, Vanarama National
League North York City, in June 2016 after playing for a number of clubs
up-and-down the Football League.
He
moved on to rivals Boston United in February 2020 and then to another, Blyth
Spartans, in August 2020.
A
silky central midfielder, he started his career at Barnsley and gained valuable
first-team experience on loan at Kidderminster Harriers, Tamworth, Northwich
Victoria, FC Halifax Town, Grimsby Town, Kettering Town and Luton Town.
He
spent three seasons at Oxford United before moving onto Stevenage, Mansfield,
Town, Torquay United, and Wrexham.
He
captained York during his first season at Bootham Crescent and lifted the FA
Trophy at Wembley after the club's 3-2 victory over Macclesfield Town in May
2017. |
