Blackman Leaves Oystermen
Lloyd Blackman has resigned as manager of Pitching In Isthmian League South East Division club Whitstable Town after informing the club that he wishes to step away from football management for the time being and leaves with immediate effect.

The Board of Directors were saddened by the news but have thanked him for his hard work during the past three seasons and have wished him well in his future endeavours.

 

Blackman, 37, had a much-travelled career as a player.

 

After playing a handful of League games for Brentford he had spells with the likes of Farnborough, Woking, Bishop`s Stortford, Bromley, Crawley Town, Llanelli, Maidstone United, Margate and Chatham Town as well as the Oystermen.

 

He managed Ramsgate from 2017 to 2018 and took charge of Whitstable for the last time on Tuesday, 14th September when they were held to a 1-1 home draw by VCD Athletic.

 

Player-coach Ben Harding has agreed to take charge of the team for the forthcoming games.
