The 30-year-old made his name at National League side FC Halifax Town after joining the club in 2015, scoring 11 times in 32 appearances with his performances at The Shay earning him comparisons to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

At the age of 24, Barnsley took him to Oakwell for an undisclosed fee and he featured 7 times for the Tykes before going on loan to Grimsby Town, Barrow AFC and former club Halifax.

Chester FC swooped to sign him after Barnsley released him at the end of the 2017/18 season on non-contract terms, but Spennymoor Town acted quickly and signed the forward after he impressed against them on the opening day of the 2018/19 season.

He moved to National League North side Boston United in July 2019, then to league rivals Alfreton in February 2020.
