Bryon
leaves Sports after a run of eleven consecutive defeats in all competitions,
with just one league win, leaving them at the foot of the table with just 4 points.
The
club then announced the return to the club of Steve O'Boyle to take over as
manager.
O`Boyle (pictured) returns to Phoenix after leaving four seasons ago, having led them to two promotions
in three seasons.
With
Sports, he won the Kent Invicta League title, the Southern Counties East League
title, and then managed 14th and 8th place finishes when the club were placed
in the Isthmian North.
When
O`Boyle left in October 2017, he was replaced by his assistant- Paul Bryon.
Since
leaving the Mayplace Ground, O`Boyle had an unsuccessful spell in charge of
Greenwich Borough and then recently left his role as number two to James
Collins at Sports` league rivals Faversham Town. |
