The 18-year-old midfielder joined Kings on loan from League Two side Crawley Town in time to make his bow against the high-flyers.

Khaleel has joined the Hertfordshire-based outfit until January 1st.

He signed for the Reds on a two-and-a-half-year deal in February 2020 after being with Isthmian League Premier Division side Cheshunt as a youth.

Khaleel, who trialled with Premier League West Ham United in April, made his senior debut for Crawley in October 2020 in an EFL Trophy defeat to Arsenal under-21s before making his full debut the following month in a 2–0 home victory over Ipswich Town, again in the EFL Trophy.
