The 20-year-old, a Yeovil Town academy product, signed a professional contract with the Glovers in December 2018.

Arriving at Huish Park in the summer of 2016 after coming through the ranks at both Torquay and Exeter City, the left-footed winger featured heavily for the under-18s in 2017/18 and was awarded a first-team squad number in 2018/19.

Continuing to impress, the Devon-born midfielder signed a contract to secure his services until June 2021. However, at the end of that contract he moved on to league rivals Torquay.

Torquay boss Gary Johnson told https://torquayunited.com: “Gabby Rogers is in a situation where he is picking up our game, which is a change from his own game.

“He is getting there, but he needs to put that finishing touch in games. He needs to produce that in games. Rather than sit in the stand, its much better for him to be playing games, and then I will see the video of the games.

“It’s only for a month, so we can go through it with him, and it is part of his development”.
