Longdon's move to York until the end of the season sees him convert the short two-match loan spell he had served from parent club, SkyBet League One side Lincoln City, into a permanent switch.

The 24-year-old, who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger, previously of the surname Howarth, made 15 appearances for the Imps.

He joined Lincoln in 202o from JD Cymru Premier side Cefn Druids and boasts Blackburn Rovers, Skelmersdale United, Ashton United and West Didsbury & Chorlton as former clubs.
