The
24-year-old came through the academy at Leicester City and progressed through
to the under-18s before being released at the end of the 2015/16 season.
In
July 2016 he joined current United Counties League Premier Division North side
Gresley Rovers and then switched to UCL Premier Division South outfit Rugby
Town in January 2017.
At
the end of the 2016/17 season, he was offered a scholarship in sport management
at Barry University in Miami and played for the university side.
Barry
University compete in the NCAA Division II and, with the help of Fura, they
achieved history.
In
2019, Barry made it through state-wide and regional rounds, 22 matches in
total, to reach the final of the NCAA Division II championship final, where
they faced off against West Chester.
And
after falling 1-0 behind, Fura and his team-mates battled back to take the
team's first ever championship title, with a 2-1 victory. |
