Ryan Maxwell, manager of Vanarama National League South club Braintree Town, has signed 23-year-old striker Dejon Noel-Williams from National League North side Gloucester City.

A product of Watford and Oxford United`s academies, Noel-Williams spent his early career on various loans to lower league sides.

 

In June 2019, he left Oxford and signed with Wealdstone, transferring to Billericay Town in January 2020.

 

He moved to Spain in November 2020, where he signed with Guadalajara, before returning to English football, signing for National League South club Hemel Hempstead Town in August 2021 and then National League North side Gloucester City, where he had a previous loan spell, in October 2021.

 

Born in England, Noel-Williams is of Grenadian descent and was called up to represent the Grenada national football team for matches in June 2021, debuting for Grenada in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Antigua & Barbuda in June 2021.
