Port Sign Evans & Loan Him Back to Mossley
Vanarama National League North club Southport have completed the signed defender Declan Evans from Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One West club Mossley AFC for an undisclosed fee on a contract until May 2024.

However, Evans will return on loan to Mossley until the end of their season and join up with Port for the final games of their campaign.

 

He is a strong and skilful central defender who signed for the Lilywhites originally on dual registration from Southport`s league rivals Chorley in December 2017 but has been fully committed to Mossley since the close season of 2018.

 

He was voted both managers` and players` player of the year in the 2018/19 season and players` player of the season again in 2019/20.

 

He originally came through the youth ranks at SkyBet League One side Rochdale.
