The
26-year-old, who scored the club's first-ever competitive goal at the Jakemans
Community Stadium, has made 30 appearances since arriving from National League
side Stockport County in 2020.
He
joined Stockport having left Chesterfield at the end of the 2017/18 season.
He
is a Republic of Ireland under-21 international, having previously represented
the under-16, 17 and under-19 sides and made his name at Sheffield United
having broken into the first team via the Blades academy.
He
was also named their young player of the year.
Born
in Chesterfield, he then moved to join his home-town club and made 44
appearances in League One and Two before joining the Hatters.
He
spent most of Stockport`s National League North title-winning season on loan at
Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division neighbours Ashton United. |
