Stancliffe took over at the end of January and the club feels he will be the right person and best way forward for the players and club during the remainder of this season and then next season when he will begin his first full campaign in charge.

Stancliffe returned to the club where his coaching at this level began.

He also played for the Main and has participated in some lively games in goal.

Before returning, he coached at Frickley Athletic and AFC Mansfield.

The senior committee have worked extremely close with Stancliffe over the last four weeks.

Hard work with the squad off the field; bringing in new faces that need some stability to settle in with him; along with his future ideas have been recognised and he can now be rewarded with the job full-time.
