Myles Arnold, Matty Ballard, Desean Martin, Louis Irvine, Jamie Russell and Liam Bood have all checked into the Greenfields Sports Ground.

Arnold is a strong midfielder who started out at Watford and then Shrewsbury Town.

He has since had spells with Cheltenham Saracens, Loughborough Dynamo, Witton Albion, Stourbridge and AFC Bridgnorth.

Utility player Ballard joins from Shawbury United, while Martin is a talented midfielder, who signed for Tividale during the 2014/15 season.

He received an international call-up from Monserrat in early 2015 once he’d graduated from the academy squad.

He moved to Hednesford Town in the summer of 2016 after successfully trialling for the club, making four substitute appearances for the Pitmen before joining West Midlands (Regional) League side Tipton Town for a short spell whilst the Pitmen held his registration.

He made the step up into the Midland League to join Walsall Wood in November 2016, before making an unexpected return to Hednesford in March 2017.

In August 2017 he moved onto Midland League Division One side Brocton.

Midfielder Irvine, who can play down the flank or through the middle of the park, joins from JD Welsh Premier side Prestatyn Town.

He joined Prestatyn from Huws Gray Alliance side Guilsfield in January 2018.

He arrived at Clos Mytton from West Midlands (Regional) League side Ellesmere Rangers during the summer of 2016 having also represented Haughmond, Bridgnorth Town and Shawbury Town.

Russell joins Drayton from West Midlands Division One side Newport Town.

He was formerly with Treowen Stars.

Attacking midfielder Bood joins from former league rivals Chasetown.

He numbers AFC Wulfrunians, Bridgnorth Town, AFC Bridgnorth and Shifnal Town amongst his other former clubs.

Remaining with Market Drayton from last season are Tyrell McFarlane, Paul McMullen, Kev Buxton, Glyn Coney, Dan Beddows and Charlie Knowles.
