The 23-year-old joins the Waders from Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town.

Jones moved to the Iron in February following a month with Cheshunt, after joining the Ambers from their Isthmian League Premier Division rivals Carshalton Athletic, where he had been since the summer of 2021, making 18 appearances, scoring 2 goals.

He first appeared for another Isthmian Premier outfit, Worthing, at Whitehawk in January 2018 and announced himself on the scene with a goal. Followed that up by notching on his home debut too against another East Sussex rival, in the form of Lewes.

Snapped up by Merstham upon his release by Crystal Palace in the summer of 2017, he turned out against his future employers and was dual registered with Southern Combination side Eastbourne United.

He moved to Isthmian South East outfit East Grinstead Town in January 2020 and then to Carshalton.

Jones scored on his Waders` debut as they gained a vital 5-1 win on Tuesday night.
