Iontton, who plays as a central midfielder, joins from King`s Lynn Town – relegated from the National League - while defender Fernandez joins from SkyBet League Two side Stevenage, where Iontton also started his career.

Iontton, 21, joined the Linnets in November 2021 after being released by Stevenage.

He joined Stevenage at the age of 10 and progressed through the club’s youth academy.

He signed his first professional contract in July 2018 and was named as League Two Apprentice of the Year for the 2018/19 season.

He has National League South experience having joined Braintree Town on a one-month loan in February 2020. He made 4 appearances for the Iron during his loan spell.

He made 4 appearances for Stevenage during the 2020/21 season, before being released by the club in May 2021, making a total of 25 appearances in his senior carer at Broadhall Way, scoring just the once.

Twenty-year-old Fernandez (pictured) spent last season on loan at King`s Lynn.

He began his career in the Stevenage youth system, making his first appearance in the EFL Cup against Southend United in 2019...

The centre-back joined Stevenage at the age of 13, progressing through the club's youth system.

He went on to make 5 first team appearances for the club.

As well as King’s Lynn, Fernandez also had a loan spell with Oxford City.

Manager Gary McCann told https://www.hamptonfc.net: “It’s great to get both Luis and Arthur over the line.

"Both started with Stevenage, and both played in the National League with King`s Lynn last season. The fact that they know each other well compliments their footballing abilities.

"They are both young, hungry to play regularly, and want to achieve success with us.

"We’d like to thank Mass Orsi-Dadomo and his brother Danilo for their efforts in getting this deal over the line.

"It’s further proof that we’ve got a good reputation of doing things right here at this football club, and that can only help us going forward."

McCann is also delighted to sign striker Tommy Wood.

The 23-year-old joins the Beavers having spent last season at fellow National League side Tonbridge Angels, where he scored 12 league goals.

“Tommy had a difficult start to his time with Tonbridge but made the adjustments and scored 13 in 15 at the end of the season to make him one of the form strikers in the division,” said McCann. “He is a much sought-after number 9, who had other options, but he has chosen us, and we are very pleased he has.”

The 23-year-old London-born striker Wood, moved to Tonbridge on a more permanent basis in October 2020.

His previous stay at Tonbridge was a short one - a month’s loan from AFC Wimbledon starting 21st February 2020 - but he certainly made quite an impact with 3 goals in 3 appearances before the season was brought to a sudden end due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

After starting his career with Burnley, he moved to AFC Wimbledon in May 2018 after failing to make the senior side at Turf Moor, although he did have loan spells with Barnoldswick Town and Ossett Albion.

He played twice for the Dons` first team as well as being loaned out to Slough Town, Burgess Hill Town, Leatherhead twice and then Angels.
