The 27-year-old re-joins from neighbours and league rivals AFC Totton.

He had returned to the Stags in February 2022 from another then-league rival, Winchester City, who he had re-joined for a second spell in 2018 from Gosport Borough.

The centre-back was with Alfresford Town and AFC Totton before his first stint with the Citizens in 2015.

Sholing boss Dave Diaper told his club’s website: "I'm delighted to have Rob Flooks join us. He's a commanding presence in defence, with over 300 games at this level. He's a great example of the high quality we are adding to our existing squad".
