They have signed almost an entirely new team.

The arrival of forward Sam Ackroyd from Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East side Sheffield FC is one of the most eye-catching.

The 20-year-old joined Club in November 2021.

He had signed for Worksop Town in the summer of 2021 from Toolstation Northern Counties East Leaguers Parkgate on a dual registration.

He began his career in the academy of Sheffield United, progressing through the age groups before he joined the Steelmen upon his release from the Blades.

Returning to the Bulls is 21-year-old goalkeeper Hugo Warhurst.

Warhurst (pictured) spent ten years at Sheffield United and made his senior debut at just 17 years of age when he had a successful loan spell at Frickley Athletic.

He then went on to represent Sheffield FC, Frickley for a second spell, AFC Mansfield and more recently NCEL Premier Division side Maltby Main.

Midfielder Jack Osborne, 22, was previously a scholar at Rotherham United.

After being released, he travelled to the United States where he was on a scholarship at Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh.

Brandon Murillo is a 20-year-old centre-back and another who was previously at Sheffield United as a teenager.

He has played Club America under-20s in Mexico, Glasshoughton Welfare and Sheffield FC.

Brad Mears is a 22-year-old right-back or right wing-back Brad Mears whose career has seen him play at Frickley Athletic, Bolsover and a short stint at AFC Mansfield a few years ago.

After some time away from Saturday football, he returned to senior football last season with the North of England Football Academy, who have recently acquired 92% ownership of the Bulls.

Right back or central midfielder Oliver Lawrence, 25, played 50 games for Maltby Main in the NCEL before moving to Retford United in 2018, where he made 57 competitive appearances.

Versatile Liam O'Brien, 24, joins from Maltby Main.

His previous clubs include Retford and Kiveton Miners Welfare and Wombwell.

Another joining from Maltby Main is 18-year-old Cal Clarke.

He was with Sheffield Wednesday as an under-15 and under-16 with the shadow squad, before joining Handsworth and playing with the reserves before making the move to Maltby Main.

He is currently a student at Thomas Rotherham College.

Khalid Suleiman, who plays as a defender or midfielder, is an ex-NEFA student who played for Parkgate and the NEFA whilst training Sheffield FC last season.
