Trennery Makes Lions Move

Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division new boys Guiseley AFC have snapped up goalkeeper Kyle Trennery.

The 22-year-old spent his youth career at FC Halifax Town, before joining up with their senior team and gained experience with Albion Sports in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League.

He signed for Farsley Celtic after impressing in 2017/18 during pre-season.

He signed on a short-term loan with Clitheroe but was recalled at the start of September 2018 following an injury to Celtic’s other keeper.

He then established himself as first choice ‘keeper and played a major part in the club`s Northern Premier League title success in 2018/19.

He moved to Matlock Town in February 2020 and then to NPL Division One East side Yorkshire Amateur in the summer of 2021.
