The 26-year-old began his career with Ilkeston at the age of 15 and made over 40 appearances for the Robins before turning 19.

In March 2015 he earned a move to Football League side Fleetwood Town, making an appearance on the bench against MK Dons.

In 2016/17, he moved out on loan to then-National League side Barrow AFC, making over 20 appearances to aid his development.

In July 2017 he joined Wrexham on a trial basis playing 4 matches, impressing then-manager Dean Keates who decided to bring him in on a six-month loan from the Cod Army.

In January 2018 he had impressed so much that the National League club opted to sign him permanently.

He switched to York in September 2020.
