Oldaker Becomes a New Spireite
Chesterfield have agreed the signing of Darren Oldaker following the expiry of his contract with new Vanarama National League rivals Dorking Wanderers on July 1st.

The 23-year-old midfielder had joined Dorking in November 2021 from then-National League South rivals Welling United.

 

He had signed for the Wings in January 2021 from Pitching In Isthmian League South East side Hythe Town, who he joined in January 2020.

 

He was originally on loan at Hythe from League Two side Gillingham when he played 14 games for the Cannons before returning to Priestfield.

 

His contract with the Gills was terminated by mutual consent in August 2019.

 

While at Priestfield, he made 33 appearances and scored 5 goals.

 

A product of the Queens Park Rangers academy, he joined National League South side Billericay Town shortly after leaving Gillingham.
