Coup Re-Signing by Sheppey
Pitching In Isthmian League South East Division new boys Sheppey United have pulled off something of a coup by re-signing striker Danny Leonard.

The 24-year-old returns to United from Vanarama National League South side Dartford, where he had been since June 2021, having moved to Princes Park from then-Southern Counties East League Sheppey.

 

He was with League One side Gillingham as a scholar, and whilst with the Priestfield outfit, was loaned to Isthmian League side East Grinstead Town.

 

After being released by the Gills, he signed for Sittingbourne in August 2016 and then had spells with Hastings United and Herne Bay.

 

He played 58 times for Sheppey in his first spell after joining in 2019/20, scoring an impressive 25 goals.
