Centre-back Scott Garner (pictured) joins the Reds from league rivals Boston United.

The 32-year-old had returned to the Pilgrims in early January 2020.

Twice capped by England C, he is a product of Premier League Leicester City’s youth system.

He signed a professional contract with the Foxes but never made a senior appearance.

He had spells with Mansfield Town, Grimsby Town, Cambridge United, Lincoln City and Boston.

He signed for then-National League North side Guiseley AFC in June 2019 from FC Halifax Town.

He had joined the Shaymen from Boston and was a vital part of the Town squad that gained promotion to the National League.

Another centre-back, Ollie Brown, arrives from relegated Guiseley.

The 19-year-old signed first team forms for the Lions in October 2020 after featuring in first team training sessions.

The defender from Leeds was the captain of the youth team and is a tough tackling player who leads by example.

He dual registered with NPL Division One East side Frickley Athletic in August 2021.
