The
23-year-old midfielder (pictured) played 8 times during a loan spell with the Brakes last
season that was unfortunately cut short due to injury but made a good
impression that convinced the manager to snap him up after he left league
rivals Brackley Town.
The
powerful midfielder had joined the Saints in July 2021 from another National
League North rival, Kidderminster Harriers.
He
had been with Harriers since July 2019 after arriving from Premier League Aston
Villa.
He
moved to Aggborough having ended a twelve-year spell with boyhood club Villa.
Standing 6ft-plus and with a strong challenge, the youngster got a taste of
National League North with a loan spell with Brackley where he took part in the
2018/19 play-offs.
Despite
interest there and from one League Two team, he penned a one-year deal with
Harriers as he looks to the next chapter of his career.
Theo
Streete has become manager Paul Holleran's third new signing of the close
season as the experienced defender joins after leaving another league rival, AFC
Telford United.
The 34-year-old has gained vast experience
both at this level and above since beginning his career at Derby County in
2006, playing predominantly in central defence, but also on the right side and
in a central defensive midfield role.
He
made his professional debut as a youngster in League One for Doncaster Rovers
in September of that year.
His
final game for Doncaster, which was the club's final game at their Belle Vue
stadium, saw him score the only goal against Nottingham Forest.
He
also spent a short spell at Rotherham United before dropping into non-League
with then newly formed Solihull Moors in the Conference North.
After
four years with the Moors, he then spent four years in the National League with
Alfreton Town and Nuneaton Town, before returning to Solihull in 2015,
captaining the side as they won the National League North.
A
short spell at Brackley Town preceded a move to Telford in 2018, where he has spent
the last four seasons.
