Arnott Boost for Cockfosters
Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division club Cockfosters have signed experienced forward Craig Arnott from Pitching In Southern League Division One Central side Welwyn Garden City.

The 29-year-old re-joined Welwyn Garden City in February 2022.

 

He returned to the Citizens having not really kicked a ball in anger for the previous six seasons apart from local Sunday football, but he will be hoping to rekindle his glory days at Herms Lane, when he was a vital member of the club`s Spartan South Midlands League double title-winning squads.

 

He was originally a full-time professional with SkyBet League Two Colchester United, where he spent two seasons before being released.

 

He spent some time on loan at Leiston and a short spell with Redbridge and Spartan South Midlands League Division Two outfit Codicote before returning to live in Welwyn Garden City and re-joining the Citizens.
