Twenty-six-year-old midfielder Michael Richardson follows Louis Storey, Graeme Armstrong, Luke Sullivan and Andrew Stephenson from Mariners Park.

Richardson joined the now Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side from Blyth Spartans in November 2016 and went on to make 69 appearances, scoring 20 goals, helping them to the quadruple in his first season, including a substitute’s appearance at Wembley in the Buildbase FA Vase.

But Shields decided not to extend Richardson’s contract to bring an end to his successful nineteen-month spell at the club.

Hebburn have also signed another player from the now defunct Team Northumbria side.

Central midfielder Robbie Spence has followed Ben Dib-Fuller to the Hornets.
