The
30-year-old (pictured) originally joined Pitching In Isthmian North side Hashtag United in
the summer of 2020 to manage the reserve team but his talents were too good for
the first team to ignore.
After
spending his formative years with Arsenal, he then spent 18 months with
Tottenham Hotspur before moving to Millwall on a scholarship and kicked off his
professional career with the Lions aged 17.
He
made a couple of League appearances for Millwall as well spells out on loan
with Cheltenham Town, Tooting & Mitcham United and Chelmsford City before
signing for Tooting in 2011 upon his release from the New Den.
The
next few seasons saw him spent time at Kettering Town, Grimsby Town, Welling
United, Maidstone United and Leatherhead, where he stayed for two years,
playing 112 games and scoring 31 goals.
Relatively
short stays Walton Casuals, Hastings United, Grays Athletic and Barking followed
before he moved to New Zealand`s capital in July 2018 where he played for North
Wellington, going unbeaten and winning the Capital One competition.
He
then moved to Nelson where he played in the 2018 ISPS Handa Premiership for
Tasman United before returning to England with Barking in the summer of 2019.
He
moved on to Isthmian South East side Hythe Town in September 2019.
Striker
Solomon Ofori has also joined the Bloods.
He
was prolific for Hadley last season, scoring 37 goals in the Spartan South
Midlands League Premier Division.
He
was previously with Hayes & Yeading United and Heybridge Swifts.
Another
striker added to Saffron Walden’s squad is Jason Hallett, who arrives from
former league rivals and now Southern Division One Central outfit Walthamstow.
Another
prolific goalscorer who had four spells with Canvey Island and has also seen
service with Waltham Abbey, Cheshunt, Chelmsford City, East Thurrock United and
Concord Rangers.
Midfielder
Cameron Watson has also arrived.
He
joined Northern Premier Division One Midlands side Soham Town Rangers in July
2019.
He
arrived from Thurlow Nunn Leaguers Haverhill Borough having previously been
with neighbours Haverhill Rovers and Histon. |
