The 22-year-old had joined the Gingerbreads in December 2021 from Vanarama National League North outfit Kettering Town, where he had been since August 2021 after arriving from Dynamo’s United Counties League Premier Division North neighbours Loughborough University.

He had joined National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough in late July 2019 after being released by then-Premier League Burnley earlier that summer and moved back to London.

He was originally signed by the Clarets from the Bradfield College football programme in Berkshire in April 2018 and signed his first professional contract soon after.

Dynamo head coach Brad Munn told https://www.loughboroughdynamofc.com: “Ed is another player we are truly buzzing to get through the door after being highly thought of by other clubs in our league.

“To get the signature of Ed shows what we are trying to do and the players we want to build around at the club.

“We first try to create an environment where players will improve, and then secondly create an environment they enjoy coming to and enjoy being around. It’s great to see players believing in the vision we I have and deciding to come to ourselves over other competing teams.

“Ed is a young man that has plenty of experience in these leagues already and his physical presence packs out that defensive line.

“We’re really looking forward to working with Ed and seeing his continued progression with us and the squad we are putting together”.
