The
Pics have announced the signing of striker Sam Moore.
He
came up through the youth system at Rushall’s league rivals Coalville Town and
broke into the first team squad in 2014/15.
A
broken leg then disrupted his progress, however, and although Coalville were
keen to keep him, he decided to join Quorn in February 2015.
From
Quorn he moved on to Shepshed Dynamo towards the end of 2015/16 and then spent
two years with Birstall United until returning to Shepshed, where he scored
freely in 2018/19.
Next
stop was Barrow Town in 2019/20 and then Eastwood Community before he joined
Coleshill Town at the start of the 2021/22 season.
He
was sent-off on his debut against Stamford but then hit top form.
He
signed for Corby in January 2022 and took his goals total for the Colemen and
the Steelmen in 2021/22 to 15.
It
had been revealed that he had joined the Steelmen’s league rivals Loughborough
Dynamo in May before the Pics stepped in.
Rushall
boss Liam McDonald told his club’s website: “Sam has been excellent since he
has been with us.
“He’s
a natural goalscorer and has already scored twice as a triallist in our opening
two games.
“He
has an unbelievable attitude and work-rate, and I am sure that not only will he
become a key player for us, but also a firm favourite with the fans”.
