The 23-year-old has made a big impact since breaking into the Magpies` side from the club’s academy system.

He scored 17 goals in all competitions last season, leading to reported interest from Moors and Southend United as he headed into the final year of his contract at York Road.

He had signed a contract with the Magpies on his 18th birthday having already made his first team debut, scoring the winner in a Berks & Bucks Cup tie at Marlow.

He was sent out on a season-long loan to the sadly now defunct Walton Casuals in 2017/18, achieving great success in their promotion season, scoring 40 goals as well as a penalty in the shoot-out which won them the play-offs.
