Defender Dan Akubuine (pictured) arrives from Southern League Division One Central side Berkhamsted, where he had been since December 2021.

The 28-year-old had signed for Southern Premier Division Central outfit Hitchin Town in October 2020 from Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

He had joined the Tudors in July 2020 following his first spell with Berkhamsted, where he had been since the summer of 2019, signing from rivals Kempston Rovers.

He had signed for the Walnut Boys in 2018 from Scottish side Albion Rovers after a spell in Sweden with Ytterhogdals IK and Skelleftea AIK.

The former Watford and Brighton & Hove Albion scholar also had spells with Kettering Town Hayes & Yeading United and can play either as a full-back or wing-back.

Corby boss Lee Attenborough told https://www.corbytown.co.uk: "It’s great that we’ve been able to agree a deal that brings Dan to the club. Last season he was with Hitchin at Step 3 but prior to that was with Hemel at Step 2 so he has a wealth of non-League experience at higher levels.

“He’s 28, so the perfect age in terms of us finding the balance between experience but still with the hunger to improve. He’s been exemplary so far in pre-season and is equally at home at both right back and central defence so gives us very good options.”

Chad Timson joins the club from United Counties League Premier Division North side Leicester Nirvana.

Timson signed for Nirvana in the summer of 2021 having been with Vanarama National League North outfit Kettering Town since September 2020 after arriving from Midland League Division One side Hinckley AFC where he picked up the supporters' young player and managers` player of the season awards.

At the beginning of the 2019/20 season, he spent time on loan with then-East Midlands Counties League side Clifton All Whites.

Sacha Markelic is a pacey young winger who joins the club from Kimberley Miners Welfare.

He helped the Miners to promotion last season, scoring 14 goals, and was one of the stand-out players throughout the campaign.

Previously with Dunkirk, he spent time with manager Lee Attenborough at Loughborough Dynamo last season on dual registration.

Urijah Gordon-Douglas joins the Steelmen from Southern League Division One Central outfit Barton Rovers.

The 20-year-old strong forward had joined Rovers in January 2022 from Southern Premier Division Central side St Ives Town.

He had been with the Saints since October 2021 after arriving from league rivals Hitchin Town, who he signed for in the summer of 2021.

A former Northampton Town academy striker, he has also played for Corby’s league rivals Daventry Town.

And finally, Lee Attenborough has been re-united with one of his stalwarts from former club Loughborough Dynamo in Carl Sibson.

He is a Nottingham Forest graduate who returned to Dynamo in 2017 from United Counties League Premier Division South side Rugby Town.

He also lists Quorn and Long Eaton United among his other former clubs.

During his time at Dynamo, he gained cult hero status and picked up numerous accolades throughout the years.
