Dequane
Wilson-Braithwaite (pictured) arrives from league rivals Carshalton Athletic.
The
20-year-old centre-back had only joined the Robins in March 2022 following less
than a month with Isthmian Premier rivals Potters Bar Town.
He
joined the Scholars in February 2022 after another short spell with Isthmian
North outfit Maldon & Tiptree.
He
had joined the Jammers in January 2022 from then-Southern Division One Central
side St Neots Town, where he had been since August 2020.
He
started off in Tottenham Hotspur’s academy between the ages of 12 and 15 and
earned his scholarship with Luton Town in September 2018 after a successful
trial period.
After
his release by the Hatters, he spent the 2019/20 season with Spartan South
Midlands League Premier Division side Potton United.
Another
defender joining Town is 19-year-old Wynford Marfo.
He
arrives from Northern Premier Division One Midlands side St Neots, where he had
been a tea-mate of Wilson-Braithwaite.
He
had signed for the Saints in the summer of 2021 after being released by SkyBet League
Two side Leyton Orient where he came through the ranks to become a regular for
the under-18 side. |
