Shaw Move to Sporting

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Bromsgrove Sporting have added Charlie Shaw to their squad ahead of the new campaign.

The 24-year-old midfielder began his career playing for Sutton Coldfield-based amateur team Sutton United, where his performances drew the attention of Coventry City.

But he joined Mansfield Town in 2015, spending time playing for the League Two club's youth and under-21.

His association with Mansfield came to an end at the end of that season on the expiry of his contract in 2017 and he signed for the Rouslers` league rivals Tamworth in the summer of 2017.

He suffered a serious ACL injury in 2020 and left the Lambs for a spell with Midland League Premier Division Walsall Wood in the summer of 2021 before returning in early October 2021.
