The
striker came through the youth ranks at the sadly now defunct Bury, making 2
first team appearances in the EFL Trophy, before signing for the then-Premier
League side Burnley, scoring his first goal days after signing in a pre-season
friendly against Stalybridge Celtic.
During
the 2019/20 season, he spent time on loan at Hartlepool United in the National
League, making 7 appearances in February and March.
During
the 2020/21 season, he made 11 appearances for Burnley in the Premier League 2,
helping the under-23 side to a seventh-place finish.
In
2021/22, however, he made just 6 appearances for the under-23s, due to an
injury.
Arthur
arrives from Championship side Hull City.
Born
in Hamburg, the centre-back was in the Oldham Athletic academy before joining
Stockport County in 2019.
He
made 35 appearances for the Hatters during the 2019/20 season, scoring 2 goals
and as a result of his good performances for Stockport, he was named as the young
player of the year.
He
then made the move to Hull, signing a three-year deal.
The
defender made 2 appearances in his first season with the club, both coming in
the EFL Trophy.
He
then spent the first half of last season out on loan with Barrow in League Two,
making 15 appearances in all competitions,
scoring once, before being recalled in January. |
