The 28-year-old joined Stockport in May 2016 from Worcester City.

He decided to move backto his native north west after graduating from Loughborough University, where he played his football in the Midland League for the college side ahead of his season at Worcester.

He can play full-back, wing-back or act as a hard-working wide midfielder in a three or four-man midfield.

He also has Football League experience, having started his career with home-town club Rochdale.

He was named Countys young player of the year during his first season with the club, and although his second season was disrupted by injury, he returned to full fitness to help County win the National League North title in 2018/19. And, having also helped them to win the National League title in 2021/22, he stayed in the same division by joining the Shaymen.
