The
Trawlerboys, relegated from the Southern League Premier Division Central at the
end of last season and then switched back to the Isthmian League by the FA,
have paid an undisclosed fee for much sought-after wide attacker Adam Hipperson
from Dereham Town, who were inexplicably switched to the Northern Premier
League Division One Midlands this summer.
He
had joined then-Isthmian North Dereham in the summer of 2018 from Norwich
United.
He
is a direct forward who possesses pace and power and was originally with Acle
United.
Lowestoft
manager Jamie Godbold told https://www.lowestofttownfc.co.uk: "He has been
on our radar and a target for me for a number of years.
"Every
season he seems to produce and provide real good quality - and we hope that
will continue.
"Without
doubt Adam has been one of the best players at this level.
"I
am delighted to bring him into the squad - he is a huge signing.
"He
is a winger/attacking midfielder who scores goals, creates goals, is good on
the ball and provides lots of opportunities for his teammates.
"I've
been after him for a number of years, so to finally get his signature is
fantastic". |
