The 18-year-old striker impressed manager Steve Castle in pre-season and has been added to his squad for the upcoming campaign.

Originally with League Two Stevenage, the English-born Chilean forward was last on the books at Bedford Town, joining the Eagles in March 2022 and helping them to win promotion from the Division One Central.

He joined the Eagles from then-Southern Premier Division Central side Biggleswade Town.

He had only joined the Waders in February from then-rivals Kings Langley, having only re-joined Kings the previous month.

He had been playing for Spartan South Midlands League Division Two side Berkhamsted Raiders after his initial spell with Kings Langley.

Bustamante Macaire is a former Chilean youth player and has represented his national side at under-15, 17 and under-18 level.
