The
34-year-old came through the academy at Huddersfield Town and went on to make
over 100 appearances for the Terriers, mainly in League One.
During
his time with Huddersfield, he spent time on loan with the Shaymen in 2008, as
well as spells with Bradford City and Leyton Orient.
Whilst
with Huddersfield, he was also capped by England at both under-18 and under-19
level.
In
2013, he joined then-League One side Preston North End, and during his seven
years at Deepdale, helped them gain promotion to the Championship, winning the
play-offs in 2015.
He
signed for Salford City in July 2020 and made 30 appearances in League Two for
the Ammies as they finished in eighth place, narrowly missing out on the
play-offs.
Following
the conclusion of the 2020/21 season, he was released and went on to sign for
Fleetwood Town in League One.
He made 35 appearances, helping the Cod Army to a 20th placed finish, only
avoiding the drop on goal difference. |
