Grimley had been in charge at Hillsfield since last September, taking charge of 33 matches in total.

A statement released by the club reads: "With regret, we have accepted the resignation of our manager, Mark Grimley.

"Mark has stepped down due to recent changes at his workplace, which have significantly reduced the amount of time available to him. We thank Mark for his considerable efforts after taking over the reins at a difficult time almost a year ago.

"Rocester Football Club are therefore inviting applications for the position of first team manager. Interested parties are asked to contact our club secretary as soon as possible by email at richard.owen@rocesterfc.net with details of your previous experience.

"All applications will be treated in strictest confidence".
