Experienced
striker Stuart Bowker (pictured) returns to Barum from Southern Division One South neighbours
Bideford AFC.
The
31-year-old signed for Bideford in March 2022 from rivals Willand Rovers.
He
had joined Rovers in September 2021 from Western Leaguers Helston Athletic, who
he had joined in July 2021.
He
originally signed for Barnstaple from Western League Premier Division side
Buckland Athletic in early January 2020.
He
joined the Homers Heath outfit in the summer of 2019 from South West Peninsula
League Premier Division outfit Bodmin Town.
In
2018/19, he scored 19 goals in 30 games for Bodmin.
He
had joined Helston Athletic in June 2018 from Stoke Gabriel before making a
swift switch to Bodmin.
He
scored 23 goals in SWPL competitions in 2017/18 for Stoke Gabriel but left
following their demotion to Division One East for failing ground grading
regulations.
Goalkeeper
Liam Kingston, 22, came through Southern Premier Division South club
Weston-super-Mare`s academy.
He
made a number of senior appearances for the Seagulls and also spent time out on
loan with Bridgwater Town, Cheddar, Shepton Mallet and, from November 2018,
with then-Southern Division One South side Street until the end of the
campaign, where he made 25 appearances.
In
August 2019, he joined Southern Division One South side Melksham Town on a
season-long loan which was ended when he left the Seagulls to sign for
Melksham`s league rivals Bideford AFC in November 2019.
He
has also represented the England Colleges side.
Central
midfielder Joe Grigg joins Barum having played for Braunton and Ilfracombe Town
last season.
He
is primarily a central midfielder, but is versatile and can play in a number of
positions.
Callum
Deemer moves to Barnstaple from Vanarama National League side Yeovil Town,
where he mainly represented the under-18 side.
Having
progressed from the successful youth system at Bideford Blues, he played a
couple of seasons in adults football with Fremington and Bideford.
Central
defender Dave Slade joins from Ilfracombe, while midfielder Matt Andrew moves
west from Southern Premier Division South side Plymouth Parkway.
The
experienced 33-year-old signed for Parkway ahead of the 2021/22 Southern
Division One South season.
He
joined South West Peninsula League Premier Division West side Camelford in the
summer of 2019 and had agreed to join Western League outfit Tavistock in July
before deciding to head to Parkway.
He
is highly regarded within the non-League scene in the West Country and
possesses an impressive CV, including spells at Truro City, Bideford AFC and
Launceston.
Youngster
Dylan Perkins has also signed forms, having returned `home` following four years
in SkyBet Championship side Swansea City’s academy. |
