Winger Robbie Buchanan joins the Greens from Southern Division One Central side Ware, for whom he made 41 appearances and scored 6 goals last season.

Buchanan, who turns 22 next week, had joined Ware in July 2021 from league rivals Welwyn Garden City, where he had been since September 2020.

A former Stevenage academy prospect, he joined the Citizens having played for Spartan South Midlands League Division One outfit Stotfold.

He has previously played with Baldock Town and Biggleswade Town.

Another former Stevenage youngster joining Hendon is midfielder Arthur Iontton (pictured).

The 21-year-old arrives at Silver Jubilee Park from Vanarama National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough.

He had joined the Beavers in May 2022 from King’s Lynn Town where he had been since November 2021 after being released by League Two side Stevenage.

He joined Stevenage at the age of 10 and progressed through the club’s youth academy.

He signed his first professional contract with Stevenage in July 2018 and was named as League Two apprentice of the year for the 2018/19 season.

He had National League experience having joined National League South club Braintree Town on a one-month loan in February 2020, making 4 appearances.

He also played 4 times for Stevenage during the 2020/21 season, before being released by the club in May 2021, making a total of 25 appearances in his senior carer at Broadhall Way, scoring just the once.
