In
midfielder Henry Muggeridge’s (pictured) case, it’s a return to the Rooks from Isthmian
South East Division neighbours Whitehawk.
The
29-year-old had been with the Hawks since June 2018 after arriving from
Crowborough Athletic, where his father was first-team manager.
He
was a youth player at Fulham and then had a year as a professional at Bristol
City before playing for Charlton Athletic, Tonbridge Angels and Lewes.
He
immediately made his mark with 9 assists in his first 10 games, as well as
scoring a hat-trick in the Hawks` final game in the Isthmian Premier against
Corinthian-Casuals.
Versatile
attacking player Jack Skinner also moves to the Dripping Pan from Vanarama
National League side Woking.
The
22-year-old, who can play out wide or behind the striker in the number 10 role,
signed for Woking in the summer of 2019, after graduating from the Cards`
academy.
Born
in New South Wales, Australia, he moved to England with his family in 2014 at
the age of 14.
Originally
based in St Albans, he participated in a college programme with Luton Town,
before relocating to Surrey four years later.
It
was here that he joined the Woking academy, coming straight into the under-23
team.
Despite
his relative lack of experience, he quickly made up for lost time by catching
the eye of manager Alan Dowson, earning a Surrey Senior Cup debut against
Croydon in December 2018 - scoring a hat-trick in a 5-0 win.
He
went on to play twice more in the competition, finding the net once again in
the quarter-final defeat to Banstead Athletic.
After
the Cards were knocked out, he signed dual-registration forms with then-Isthmian
Premier Division side Leatherhead for the rest of the season, gaining some
valuable first-team experience in the process.
He
has also gained experience with the sadly now defunct Walton Casuals on loan. |
