Ward Becomes a Loan Crusader
Vanarama National League South club Hungerford Town have signed goalkeeper Jed Ward on a month’s loan from SkyBet League One side Bristol Rovers.

The 19-year-old is a product of the Rovers academy and burst into the first-team set-up in the 2020/21 campaign.

 

After impressing for the under-18s, Ward secured his first professional deal in February of 2021, at the age of 17.

 

The 'keeper went from strength to strength from this point and made his first-team debut in the final game of the 2020/21 season, performing well against a promotion-bound Blackpool side, with the Gas losing 1-0.

 

He has previously spent time on loan at Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South side Swindon Supermarine and NPL Division One West outfit Prescot Cables.
