New Keeper for Spireites
Vanarama National League club Chesterfield have signed experienced goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons.

The 28-year-old established himself as Notts County`s number one for the first half of 2018/19.

 

He came through Crystal Palace’s academy system before moving to Bolton Wanderers in 2016.

 

Spells with Bishop’s Stortford, Braintree Town and Chelmsford City preceded a move to Meadow Lane in the summer of 2017.

 

He moved to National League North outfit Boston United in August 2020 and then transferred to then-National League side Stockport County in March 2021 for an undisclosed fee and then to then-league rivals Weymouth in July 2021.
